Intermediate - Learning How To Play Drums P V

Finally, the Intermediate section. Here, you will learn fills, around the drumsset, flows, and some other stuff. Im telling you now, this isnt close to as fun as the
last Parts and dosnt have many beats you will be making, its the true definition of
plain boring practice. Of course, This will help you with your beats as you get more
creative, but is still boring as hell, epecially this part and the next one. But
dont just skip them, i wont be a big deal if you move on a little faster than usual,
because this isnt all that important, but you should still know it.

If you were just coming here looking for stuff on the intermediate tabs, i have
lessons starting from beginners and hope to get through advance by the end of the
year. These might not interest you, since Ill remind the people seriously using these
and people just looking at these...These are LESSONS, not a source of cool beats to
use, although there are those, or a whole load of fun all the time.

This lesson, which i said was boring as hell, you just need to know this

c-chip hi-hat
C-cymbal

the c just means you dont hit the hi-hat, you step on the pedal hard enough so it
still makes that chip noise you get from hitting it.

PART V
Coordination

Okay, here your simply just hitting the bass drum, hitting the cymbal (softly),
hitting the snare drum, then chipping the hi hat. the r and l on the top mean what
hand or foot to play with (right and left)

  r r l l
C|----o-----------| R r l L
H|------------c---| or its read Boom, ring, crack, chip
S|--------x-------| (bass,cymbal,snare, hi-hat)
B|x---------------| the capital L and R means right or left foot

  r r l l
C|----o-----------|
H|--------c-------| R r L l
S|------------x---| boom, ring, chip, crack
B|x---------------|

not hard at all. but just do it a couple times to make sure you know the flow.
Im just going to put down the other way since the tab isnt as usful or helpful (and
too easy to read)

 R l L r
boom, crack, chip, ring

 R l r L
boom, crack, ring, chip

 R r l L
boom ring crack chip

 R r L l
boom ring chip crack

 R l L r
boom crack chip ring

 R l r L
boom crack ring chip

 R L l r
boom chip crack ring

 R L r l
boom chip ring crack

Yeah, I told you it sucked. Should be a breeze for anyone. The next lesson it also
coordination, but is constant playing with the left and right hand. If you got
through this lesson fast, go to the next one, but dont try to rush through that one.
